3rd Ward’s Handmade Holiday a success

3rd Ward held its first ever Handmade Holiday Craft Fair and Open House in Brooklyn today. Judging by the crowds, the market and Open House were a great success. The place was packed with indie artists and buyers looking for handmade gifts. We were able to speak to several indies about their work. Several mentioned that this was their first market experience. Visitors were treated to demos in vintage furniture restoration, sustainable lamp design, video animation, metal work, and graphic design. 3rd Ward Members and artists led the demos and tutorials. There was also music and refreshments.
