DIYthing

As Deb and I prepare for the launch of DIY City mag we have noticed the need to have a place for designers/artists that may not be featured in an issue because we focus on certain cities. Within the website for DIY City we will have a place called DIY World - which will house designers from around the world.

As is the case with Shelby Healey - she is from Tenerife, a Spanish island. It is the largest of the seven Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa.

I discovered Shelby’s work today while on Trunkt a few moments ago. Shelby has been crafting since a little girl> She finds inspiration walking in the forests where there is little noise and few people. She allows her imagination to run free and somehow the trees seem to take on characters of their own. You will want to check out more of Shelby’s work on Etsy and Trunkt!
